so we have ancestry.com and classmates.com, but i think that the government should fund a centralized database for all that, and everything in between. like i would go in and put in where i went to school, church, where i lived, people’s names that i remember from all those places, etc. and if enough people did this, i am sure there would be lots of crossed paths. maybe someone i went to kindergarten with lives right down the street from me. you could add events to it too, everyone in attendance at the olympics or superbowl, and you could trace any relations you have to anyone, or how many times you crossed paths with someone. maybe a better name for the site would be called it’s-a-small-world-afterall.com it could be a historical reference for buildings, family trees, finding lost friends, or even tracking down people that owe you money. you could search the people database for friends, relatives, neighbors, classmates, etc. just a huge database of everyone, everywhere, everytime, every place, and everything. i like it.

no way, that is a cool idea and the only reason i said the government should run it is because they would be the ones trusted with social securities numbers and could be relied on as a credible resource. if a 3rd party has to do it for me not to be considered a facist, fine.

whatever happened to privacy anyway? all this does is provide an excellent method for weirdos to find people that don’t want to be found. what if it turns out some guy that you had looked for was at a sporting event with you, sure, but he was also with some hooker and not his wife, and you cut this open, ruin his marriage, without doing anything but looking it up. its possible. dude, i can think of sooooooo many examples.

dude, thats only one of many situations. imagine if some guy (wyvern maybe) stalks some cheerleader in high school, and is institutionalized because of it. he gets out, finds her, using this system of yours, (something previously very difficult), then chops her up and eats her breasts. you can’t say that that wouldn’t be a bad thing.

plus, these are just circumstances.

privacy is still valuable, even if you don’t have edible breasts.
