So I'm trying out the Sell-a-band service...seems pretty interesting. You sign up as a band, and people who "believe" in you can buy a share in your future for a minimum of $10 per share. Once the band reaches $50,000 in believer support, they'll pay for you to record a demo. Seems fun, and nothing to lose until you make the $50,000.

Legend of the Green Dragon - Flies again!

Legend of the Green Dragon is a text based RPG (Role-Playing Game). All you need to play is a web browser, an internet connection, and a sense of humor and imagination.
I've hosted this game before and had 1500+ players from around the world. I stepped away from the game for personal reasons almost 2 years ago, but now I've found the time and desire to get it back to the game it once was. It's all PHP based and it's a ton of fun. It's quite addicting!

Game high scores are now working!!!

Took me a while to convert reading a text file to reading from the database, but the highscores for all the games are now fixed! Tetris, Packman, Snake, and Space Invaders are all keeping high scores now!

Geo tagging: when my blog meets the real world

So I just made my blog georss compatible. Kinda geeky, but for every post, it will have a location signature to it, specifically, latitude and longitude. So if i write about a trip to Vegas, I can put in it's location and RSS readers will know that it was about Vegas. The same goes for all of my Pittsburgh posts. Outside.in is creating maps to display areas that are blogged about the most and where they are coming from, and they taking that data and laying it over google maps. It's a pretty neat iniative.
