got the call from walmart saturday and so i went and picked up my 2 60gb playstations. probably post them on ebay this thursday, just in time for some last minute christmas rushers.

I’m slacking on the 1 online class i have…the crappy thing is, not a single grade has been posted, so i have NO idea how i am doing in the class which isnt exactly motivation to try harder, you know? bleh. i don’t think i’ll take classes in the spring. at least not the first half of the semester. I have a few project management classes within work in jan and feb, so i’ll rationalize that as my excuse. Assuming i pass this class, i’ll have 24 credits or 6 classes left. 1 is an open elective, where i have the option to test out of something. Maybe i’ll make that my goal for spring semester too…I’m going to have to pay out of my pocket ~2k to finish in fall 2007, but i think it’ll be worth it than delaying it any further. hopefully i won’t screw myself with having classes not be available downtown, or at all….

why is my room in a perpetual state of dissarray? I don’t even sleep in it anymore, i sleep in the guest room…

family is going to italy in may for a week since keren will be there all spring and they’ll bring keren back with them…i’m tempted to go, but that’s going to be at least $2k…I think i’ll wait for some job certainty before i make any crazy decisions.

yeah….so remember that house that i wanted to buy a year ago? I put a bid in on it yesterday. I’ll hear monday if i get it or not. It just came back up on the market at the begining of the month. I saw it, and the water damage was not that bad at all, one small pipe cracked in the basement rafters and sprayed water all over the drywall there. looks like it just needs replaced, nothing wrong structurally. I wanted to be able to lowball the bank with an offer and have them counter, but there apparently is another bidder, so the bank most likely will just take the highest bid. I ended up bidding 5k above what i wanted to bid…kinda feeling a little taken and a little regret on that…but we’ll see. It’s going to be a tight tight tight tight budget for a while if i get the house. There’s lots of pros and cons and unknowns and hoops and loops and this and that involved and still to go through, but, we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.

school isn’t too bad so far. online class is just busy work for a few hours on sundays, the class that meets on thursday is the same professor that i had last semester for the class where I/we had class 3/8 weeks, so i am hoping for an easy A again.

going back home this weekend to work at the estate and the park. I gotta get some kind of sign up for the park so people start calling and making reservations for the season. J’aime and Keren went over to the estate last week, and they said the roof is leaking really bad. I am hoping to get some tarps this weekend and get up on the roof to fix it. Hopefully it won’t be too cold and hopefully we’re able to do everything that we want to.

So one of those houses that i was looking at has water damage, and the bank might foreclose on it, which means I could get it on the cheap. I have a realtor looking into it for me. I’m in the mood for a life altering decision. Jordan (who is probably reading this) freaked out when i mentioned the house since he moves in my apartment this saturday, but i told him if i get the house, he’d definitely still have a place, possibly cheaper, possibly better, and possibly with a garage. My lease is up in august, so if i got it that would give me just about enough time to fix up so i can move in. So dealing with that has taken up a lot of time this week, trying to get it before it forecloses. I was supposed to see it monday night, but the realtor completely dropped the ball and couldnt find the keys, and called me back at 10:30 at night to tell me. so i got my own realtor.


school started last night too, and it looks like i am going to be busy. public speaking class tuesdays from 5:30-7:30, speech every week, outline for the speeches due every friday, and 2 papers in the class. I’m also in an online class about literature, so lots of reading to do. they are both only 8 week courses, so it’s going to be a lot of work in a short time. so that’ll keep me away from life for a while.


a week after classes are done, it’s time to go to canada for a week! with the whole family. should be sweet. i took the week after off work as well, and i plan to cruise the east coast stopping in DC, williamsburg, wilmington, and charlotte. should be a nice road trip. gotta survive until then. rock on and cross your fingers for me about this house.
