have you ever learned a new word, and then heard it all over the place?? It is just such a weird thing. It makes you think, have i been hearing this word the whole time, and just never paid any attention to it??? can it really be coincidence?

for those of you who have never noticed this, i will share my most recent experience. So i am helping out with the website for a band called SoulPatch. When i first heard their name, i was thinking like a patch sewn onto someone’s soul. I was sitting around with the band, and one of them jokingly said that they should all grow soulpatches, and that the female lead singer should have to wear a fake one too. judging by their hand gestures, i gathered that a “soulpatch” is that little patch of facial hair under a guy’s lip. and if that is all the facial hair he has (not a gotee) it is a soul patch. so i learned something new. then, an hour later, i went out to get some food with a friend. It was Ash wednesday, and we were talking about seeing people with ashes on their foreheads. I said that i had met with an older guy who is nearly bald that i hadn’t seen in a year, and from a distance it looked like he had grown a new spot of hair on his forehead. not a second later, the cashier said, “ha, kind of like a soul patch on his forehead.” what the crap.

haven’t updated in a while. so here goes. Cornerstone is going great. we are doing this 40 days of purpose thing. we read a book for 40 days and meet in small groups about it. looks like it should be very rewarding. next wednesday we are going to see The Passion, i guess we rented out a whole theatre. I am looking forward to it.

i am helping out on a webpage for a local band, Soulpatch. They all go to Cornerstone, and have been together for over a year playing around all over locally.

serah called me today. she left me a message on the apartment answering machine, “just calling to talk…and…I am having computer problems” I didn’t even recognize her voice. I tried calling her back, but no answer. :- I have been leaving her AIM messages, and she never returns them. I guess she is just a busy girl, or just really doesn’t care for me. :-

hmmm, what else…Kathy and I are on good terms now. I had told her i hated her, and she flipped out, who’da thunk? So i am glad to be talking to her again, even though…i don’t ever really talk to her. But it is nice to know i can.

jubillee is coming up. that should be interesting. I also am planning to go to creation this summer with my sisters. hopefully we can all work that out. let me know if you want to go! we get discounts for more people. hmmm, not really too much else. I am eating fine, put my tuition on my mom’s credit card since i could pay it all upfront. she gets like $18 cash back on it too:-D. it’s 3 am, i have class at 9. i gotta get to bed. [crash]

hmmm, i had all this stuff i wanted to write about in my blog, but now i cant think of a single thing. Finger Eleven rocks my face off though. perhaps that can explain my loss for words. here is my face, and here is finger eleven, and then there is my face on the floor because they rocked it off.

Adrienne is such a xenophobe, she can’t stand germs, or people touching her, and i can completely understand why she wanted to get to the back of the concert last night. Stupid huge, old, and massive guys started a mosh pit. totally ticked me off. i wasnt in the mood to mosh. this is finger eleven. All i can think about is how i want to have man sex with all of them on their tour bus. I touched their bus. i feel so wrong about being the way i am about that band, honestly, i am not a freak, finger eleven is just everything i like out of music. my favorite band ever.

but enough about me. lets talk about you. how are you doing? what have you been up to?

ok, so i severly screwed up Quantum star. It was never working to begin with though, so i guess i didnt really do anything terrible. I will have to reinstall it and i will post once i get it up and running. and i will let all you guys who signed up already know personally when it is back up. Legend of the dragon still works, and rocks.
Cornerstone is so awesome. It totally rocks my face off too. If any of you are ever not doing anything on wednesday nights, come hang out there. it is so awesome.

i am working on so many other things right now, i am working on a website for the local band Soulpatch with a friend from cornerstone, working on the cornerstone page, working on my page, school, work, work, friends, family, i am just always so busy. so i will leave you with that, God speed.
