there and back again. |
well, personal updates have been lacking from me for a few reasons. One is, the dragon game has been demanding more and more from me as more and more players are coming, and more and more players are advancing in the game. A few other people have offered to pitch in with the coding aspect, and I have a few moderators in place to help regulate and answer questions, so that helps. I am really proud of what this game have become.
Another reason is lack of motivation because i don’t have a job yet. I ended up turning down the Academic Consulting job at pitt, for a few reasons, but mostly because it wasn’t something i wanted to be doing. A good friend told me that life is too short to be doing something you don’t want to. He also said that he has an easier time respecting a starving artist than a complaining suit. I think i agree. The job situation has taken a turn for the better though, hopefully i will have more on that this or next week.
It would also appear that i have a few unwanted patrons to the site. I mean, this is a blog, on the internet, but i would expect the people who read it regularly (yes, believe it or not, people actually do) that they would atleast know me on a personal level. People who read my site just to use any information about what i did recently, to police what others say, or to make sure i don’t say anything about certain people, is just weird. Borderline stalkers if you ask me. If you care enough about what i do, or who i do it with, post in the forums atleast, and talk to me or something. Otherwise, I think it is just plain rude.
well, i am at home on dialup right now, so i will wrap this up. i will also share something with you that i thought was pretty much the cutest, yet saddest thing i have seen in quite some time. poor ducklings.

One can only hope that the photography did something to help afterwards. What do you think?
