Personal Update

Merry holidays

22 December, 2003 (16:51) | Personal Update

[yawn] my oh my, this weekend was full of exitement! I am so tired, and i slept so much today. so let’s see, Saturday i woke up about 12, went to the mall to get some shopping done, then i drove Keren and Deirdre around for their Christmas dance pregame events:) Deirdre took a kid that she went to 1st grade with, and has just recently met again, and Keren took a new found friend from school. Keren’s date was a pretty quiet and reserved guy, but he was alright. Deirdre’s date was a little more upbeat and with a moptop that Rooney would be jealous of. After driving them around for a bit, the rest of us played some Scene it? at home, pretty interesting game. then it was off to bed before Church on Sunday where Keren, Chris, and Deirdre did did a song together, it was pretty good. Then we openned presents, and ate some dinner, and my mom, Chris, and I went to see Deirdre in her chorus/choir/youth group thing. Saw some blasts from the past there. And that was pretty much my weekend. Now i am back at work all this week except Thursday.

Jeff, my boss, emailed me and said that Dec. 29th, we are putting an ad in the Senior Coalition’s magazine, which has a subscriber base of 520,000. So there should definitely be a call volume for me New Year’s Eve. Joy 🙁 but atleast we are getting some customers and I will be making some money.

I probably won’t be able to afford to keep the car in a few months. so back to the public transportation system for me. That was a luxury though, I should be able to manage with out it.

Personal Update

internet, internet, every where.

17 December, 2003 (23:04) | Personal Update

Woo hoo! got a Linksys Wireless G router for the apartment, so now i can access the internet anywhere in the apartment with my laptop, as Adam suggested, yes, even on the can. 🙂

Got some Christmas shopping done today. I looked for Waking Life on DVD, but couldn’t find it at best buy. I also got some things taken care of with the car, shopped around with Becky, and ate at the Olive Garden. besides that, just sitting here at work. I am going to get a big pay check…at the end of January. I hate how we only get paid once a month, and it was for the previous month’s work. that is lame.

I am working on the quote error in the forums, looks like it might be due to the gallery. looks like i am the first one to report it, but a few others are having the problem now too. So i didnt do it! it is a bug! still sucks though:(

my dreams have been so lucid recently. I love it. They are so real, and so detailed, and that alone puts me in a wonderful mood. I am thinking about starting yet another topic, and calling it dreams, and posting my dreams up. like a dream journal. the problem with that is i would need to write it out in the mornings right afterward. I used to write down all my dreams, as proof for deja vus, so i would like to start that back up again. Any input?

Thoughts & Ideas

I’ve seen the needle and the damage done.

16 December, 2003 (20:28) | Thoughts & Ideas

I got some blood work today. I hate needles and i hate blood. The last time i had blood work was when i was 11, and it took 4 nurses to hold me down. You would think after decades of needles, they would have found a better way by now. I would so be game for a one time operation, where they stick a permanent “hatch” or something on your arm, so that you never have to be punctured again. I hate being punctured. Maybe even a really powerful sucking machine to suck the blood right through the skin. You think that would hurt? just leave a nasty hickey.
