a brazillian hacker decided to stop by and upload a malformed image in the gallery the other day.  Ended up corrupting the database and messing with the dragon game.  So i have upgraded the version of the gallery, and still tweaking it to get the old pictures back.  With in the next week or two, i will be upgrading the version of PHP nuke as well.

just letting you all know i am still kicking.  working from 4am – noon is a little rough.  It’s london’s 9-5 though, so i just have to think of it as i am a european trapped in an american’s time zone.  i end up sleeping from about 1pm-6 or 7 each night.  so getting 5-6 hours of sleep is a huge change from what i am used to.  some nights i will sleep again from 1am-3am before going to work, but that doesnt always happen.  I think it makes me more tired anyway.  They are paying me well for my lack of sleep though.

emily is moving in this saturday.  hopefully all will go smoothly.  It looks like it is just going to be the 2 of us, for the time being anyway.

alot has happenned since last i updated, and a lot to come.  keren going to school, went to kennywood with the family, trying to install dan’s old cd player in my car, got a really nice table from chris’ mom, and just a bunch of other crap.  so much more crap to come too.

it would be cool if you could have a credit card with no available credit on it.  that way, for those services that say they give you a month free, but you have to cancel it after that if you dont want to keep it, you won’t be billed anyway.  and they would have to contact you for updated info if you did want to keep it.  i’d be up for it.

working 4am to midnight now.  tough stuff.  getting home and sleeping til 6.  thats what i did today anyway.  then a butt load of touchtown calls.  and why does it say i have been listenning to alanis morsette for the past week above?  i swear, i listen to other crap.  another thing on my list of crap to do, when i have time to do it.  This job thing isnt fun.  who’s idea was this anyway?  i was just starting to get used to the 7-3:30 shift last week.  oh well.  they pay me well.  my mind has been mush for the past week from not sleeping.  3 hours a night last week, woke up at 12 sunday, didnt go to be until 1 monday.  this adaptation stuff is hard.

well, its been a while.  i was supposed to go to PSU this past weekend and help serah move her crap back home, but I ended up not going, and my mom and J’aime went out friday night and came back early saturday morning.  fun fun.  I regret not going though.  Since i was home, i was working on the dragon game, and ended up causing a terrible thing to happen.  Long story short, we had to roll the game back to 2 weeks prior.  we had nearly 1000 accounts friday.  After the restore, we stood at 577.  So i promoted quite a few players to help out, and we set out to restore all accounts that sent in what their stats were before the crash.  So that is what i spent MY ENTIRE WEEKEND doing.  i didnt go to sleep until saturday morning for like 4 hours.  then a little bit later on.  I was so dead without the help of those that dedicated their time to bringing everything back up to date.  the game sits aboce 800 accounts now.

I start at mellon Monday, day shift.  I will be working twice as much as i am used to, but also making twice as much.  Should be interesting.  Thanks to Barb who made it possible.  She also got me the position at cobweb, which i would be no where without.  I have never found a job on my own, or got a job from a head hunter besides pitt helpdesk.  dairy queen, iomega, cobweb, touchtown, and now mellon, i got all from networking.  Chris says he is just the opposite:)  But that’s chris.  who, by the way, has some MP3s in the download section now.

starting at mellon monday means i am not going to Yankanuck with the family though.  The only thing to do up there is fish, and i am not a big fan of fishing.  I was kind of wanting to go and take my laptop, and just writing out the deck or something.  Yankanuck is a marvelous place, i’ll be sure to try and round up some photos.

anyway, its late, i just got back from walmart buying a salt and pepper shaker and some silverware.  fare thee well.  I leave you with 2 of my favorite things joined together in harmony.  a guitar and legos.
