About

Well, you’ve made it to the web presence of one of the many people named Josh Hall. That’s where the unoriginality stops though. When I was a kid in kindergarten, my teacher, Mrs. Sofran, wrote a note on my report card that said, “Josh enjoys finding his own way to do things. He enjoys being creative.” And that pegged me, from then to present, and hopefully for the far future. I think being creative is the essence of life, not being different, but just being yourself, and one can only hope that is different. This site is a collection of the thoughts, music, poems, friends, memories, rants, and anything else that I come across in my life.

I’m a young professional living in the Hill District of Pittsburgh, Pa.  I’ve been documenting my life on this blog since 2003, playing guitar at local open mics, volunteering with the L.I.V.I.N.G. Ministry, going to The Open Door, and trying to do adventurous things with a hint of pragmatism.  My wife sometimes gets frustrated as a result.

Anyway, Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to comment if you find something you like or just contact me and say hi! I always respond to emails.

Thanks,
– Josh (sixf00t4)
