too random to be random
i saw this random fact…
It is believed that Shakespeare was 46 around the time that the King James Version of the Bible was written. In Psalms 46, the 46th word from the first word is ‘shake’ and the 46th word from the last word is ‘spear’
and it actually checks out…
with things like that and syncing up pink floyd’s dark side of the moon with the 2nd lion roar of the beginning to the wizard of oz, they are just too random for me to believe them to be random. Certainly someone had to find out that there were similarities between the audio and video of the two, so who was that person? What were they doing? …what were they SMOKING? if it truly was unplanned, certainly there must be some sort of documented report of the first time this was attempted.
back to the Bible, I know people spend so much time reading the Bible and looking for patterns. Can we draw any conclusions from this rarity? Does it mean the translation has “easter eggs” placed their for some humor or self-satisfaction of the translator? do we then assume that the historical value and credit of translations have been comprimised?
1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge2,313 views
